Okay, so right now, we don’t know from day-to-day if we’ll be wearing a t-shirt or a woolly jumper, trainers or snow boots – but spring is on the way! Many of my clients say they prefer winter clothes, but spring looks can feel fresh and bring us a boost of energy. A new season brings optimism of lighter, longer days and warmer weather. If you’ve been wondering what to wear for Spring 2022, read on because I’m sharing some key looks for warmer days ahead in this latest style update!
But… First things first – A Wardrobe Review:

So, how do we get ready for the winter to spring transition when it comes to our wardrobes? First up, I’d suggest doing a ‘wardrobe review’ and de-clutter to make way for some newness.
Go through each item and be honest with yourself – is it serving you well? Is it a great colour on you, or does it wash you out? Does it fit well, or can you only do standing up activities in it?! Does it suit your lifestyle and the sorts of activities you do day-to-day? If not, it’s time to pass it on to a friend, a charity, sell it, or recycle – never throw it in the bin, please.
Breathing new life into your ‘Keepers’!
Now that you have your ‘keepers,’ try on a few different outfits and combinations. Sometimes we get stuck in a rut, always wearing the same things or putting them together in the same way. Experiment, mix things up, and don’t be scared to try things out – you could already have lots of ‘new’ outfits in your wardrobe.
Filling the gaps:
Next up, think about the ‘gaps. Are you short on good jeans or go-with-anything trainers? Maybe it’s a jacket or dress for work. Make a list of items you might need and hit the shops, whether virtually or online. Having an idea of what you need makes shopping more focused; the amount of choice can often be overwhelming.
What to wear for Spring 2022!
Now… What to wear for Spring 2022? It’s time to explore some key looks.
I’m pleased to report that one of the strongest walks from the catwalk is all things colour! Spring and summer hues range from zesty oranges and yellows to bold cobalt blue, hot pink, and emerald green.
Colour blocking or unusual combinations is a fantastic way to lift your current wardrobe and mood! It’s known as dopamine dressing, as injecting colour can boost how we feel. If you’re not sure bold colours suit you, or you’re feeling a little less brave, try an accessory like a handbag or a pair of shoes as a pop of colour against a more neutral palette – it really does have the power to elevate your outfit.
Here are some of my picks from the High Street:
Embroidered Midi Dress

Side Zip Sweatshirt

Cobalt Blue Blazer
