The type of personal information I collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
- Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, your name and contact details)
- If you’ve worked with me individually, I may keep information you provide on your physical characteristics and preferences (for example, your colouring, style personality, height, etc)
- I also hold notes and photos (only taken with your express consent) from any coaching and styling sessions that help me to provide the best service to you, and continuity in our sessions.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information I process is the things you’ve provided to me directly for one of the following reasons:
- As preparation for a session with me (for example in any pre-session questionnaire that you complete)
- Through a ‘sign up’ to a newsletter or similar, which uses Mailchimp to collect.
- I also receive personal information indirectly, from some outside sources, such as Eventbrite where you use these applications to book onto events and workshops.
I use the information you provide in order to deliver the best service, by tailoring sessions, calls, coaching and other interventions to suit your needs, and to keep in touch with you, according to your preferences.
I don’t share your personal information with any outside parties. If I have outsourced any administrative help where they may need to see your data, these persons will be subject to privacy and confidentiality clauses too.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored on a private laptop that is password secured and in some cases in a locked filing system at my studio.
Unless you request otherwise, I keep your information indefinitely as I believe it is useful to provide continuity in my service if and when you come back to work with me again. If you ask me to delete your data, I will delete it from my servers and shred any physical paperwork.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask me for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask me to update personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask me to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that I transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
If you want to do any of the above, I won’t charge you for it, and I have one month to respond to your request.
